Check that visual indicators are relevant and easily integrated into day-to-day activity. The first step is to check that the use of visual indicators is relevant to the application context. For example, the number of projects per phase can be expressed as a percentage figure (20% of projects in the initialization phase, 40% in the completion phase, etc.). However, this is not the only possible representation; it may be more effective for the same information to be represented visually by a set of dots or lines, by a more or less blackened surface, or by Post-IT® that are moved as you move from one phase to another.
