A participative meeting is an active working meeting where all participants share their opinions and are sure to be heard. Visual thinking techniques help to visualize what is being said, to ensure that meaning is shared and taken on board by all. This technique can be used in a working meeting around an A3 sheet of paper, if you have three or four participants, or a flipchart for larger working groups. You can use Post-IT® with drawings/icons prepared in advance. The important thing is not the beauty of your representation, but its effectiveness. This collective note-taking can then be reused as a starting point for another working meeting on the subject, or shared more widely.
