1. Environmental policy goals
Environmental policy is a formal statement by an organization of its intentions and principles in relation to its overall environmental behavior, including performance, which provides a framework for action and sets out its environmental objectives and targets.
This declaration may take the form of a personal commitment on the part of the head of the organization, particularly in the case of small and medium-sized companies. In the case of multi-site companies or large industrial groups with several subsidiaries, it can take the form of guidelines or "environmental" charters which will enable each site or subsidiary manager to translate this declaration into specific objectives, while asserting their own personality in line with the guidelines...
