Often, for fear of failing, we don't dare innovate, preferring to stick to tried-and-tested patterns. While caution is necessary, and risk-taking must be proportionate to the consequences of its potential effects, the fact remains that evolution can only come about by accepting experimentation and the discovery of new paths. Of course, support from experienced guides is a key factor in success and risk reduction.
