Understanding FMECA

You need to define the working group. This may include (but is not limited to) product engineers, members of the quality department, the methods office, experts, customer representatives (if possible), not forgetting the pilot, who is the guarantor of the working methodology. The composition of the working group depends on the type of FMECA study, whether for a product, a process or a production tool.

Define a schedule for FMECA sessions. Be careful with the frequency: it must be adapted to the project's problems and delivery deadlines. As a general rule, do not exceed two hours per session.
