This text was written in collaboration with Joël SARRAILLON and Julien VINAY
The Pôle traçabilité, a non-profit organization supported by an association under the law of 1901, is a center of competence(ies) organized and operating as a cluster, in the international sense. It was set up to network manufacturers, companies, researchers and teachers around the theme of traceability, and to take initiatives with the following objectives:
promoting the concept to decision-makers in companies and organizations, and explaining the technological, economic and strategic issues involved;
development of the technologies, tools, methods and best practices that make up a traceability system;
support for companies and organizations undertaking traceability initiatives.
The Pôle traçabilité, based in Valence in the Drôme department, operates nationally in France and cooperates with other entities in Europe.
