The first step is to identify the people who are concerned in the short or longer term by the need to "safeguard" or capitalize on their know-how.

This can be achieved by mapping your know-how [FIC 0312] and/or by identifying, with the help of management and human resources, the people who possess specific know-how or key expertise. The need to safeguard their know-how may be linked to :
