4. Consolidate and organize stakeholder needs
Unfold and iterate the following activities.
Give each requirement a formal identifier and assign it the attributes needed to manage it: type, priority, traceability, etc.
Sort and organize requirements according to their type: service, efficiency, functional interface (exchanges), physical interface (connection), constraint, etc. They can also be grouped into categories. A requirement can be broken down into sub-requirements.
Check that each requirement is expressed and formulated correctly, and that all requirements are consistent and complete.
Validate the content and expression of requirements with stakeholders, in particular users and customers (obtain their agreement).
