INTRODUCTION

Understanding how a network works is essential. An operational diagram can enable the brain to move much faster, but also to connect elements that were not connected before: relationships appear that we didn't suspect (this is called serendipity: we find what we weren't looking for).

Mapping is a way of understanding a situation, which highlights how we can make the most of this visual way of thinking.

Every day, our work takes place in an increasingly digital theater of operations. And just as a soldier's first tool is a map to know where to act, we're faced with the same problem: how do we map networks?
