Morphological analysis: why? Why?

Once you've decided why you want to carry out a morphological analysis, you need to extract n morphological parameters from the set of solution characteristics.

The assumption of morphological analysis is, in fact, that any particular solution is a shape defined by "morphological parameters" that take on predefined values.

As with any method, the choice of input data, i.e. these morphological parameters, is critical; the quality of the result depends on it. So, to extract them, you need not only a certain amount of raw data (patents, catalog information, etc.), but also knowledge, even expertise, in the field.
