4. Service concept
There's a distinction between the two notions, product and service, although both are the result of a process. The Larousse dictionary gives us the following definitions:
Product: economic good resulting from production, manufactured object.
Service: a set of obligations towards individuals or communities.
The international standard 9000:2005 gives us the following definition for a service in general:
