3. Incorporation of metal oxide nanoparticles in packaging biocomposites

Good mechanical properties of polymers are defined in particular by :

  • temperature resistance ;

  • chemical resistance (oils, edible acids, etc.);

  • waterproofing ;

  • mechanical resistance to external stress ;

  • resilience (a polymer's ability to absorb energy during impact).
