4. Demetallization or stripping of coated materials
Demetallization, also known as stripping, consists in removing a defective or non-conforming coating, while guaranteeing the durability of parts by preserving the mechanical and dimensional characteristics of the substrate. Another aspect relates to the treatment of jigs and fixtures or other production elements, where the presence of metallic protrusions can cause irreversible defects in the actual surface treatment of the parts.
