1. What about an industrial surface
During its production and/or processing, a metal material undergoes various mechanical or thermal transformations during which its surface evolves both from a physico-chemical and micro-geometric point of view. An industrial surface is therefore complex in nature, and is made up of several superimposed layers resulting from interactions between the metal and its environment, as illustrated in the figure.
