Dry thermomechanical stripping by cryogenic nitrogen jet

The Azote supercritique facility, the only one of its kind in Europe and owned by CRITT TJFU in Bar-le-Duc (55000 – France), was co-financed by GIP Objectif Meuse and Région Grand Est. The research and development work involved in developing the supercritical nitrogen jet etching technique was financially supported by the ICEEL Carnot Institute, GIP 55, the Grand Est Region, ADEME, ERDF and the Design of alloy metals for low-mass structures Laboratory of Excellence (Labex DAMAS) as part of the Future Investment Program operated by the French National Research Agency (ANR-11-LABX-0008-01).
