Is it compulsory to carry out periodic calibration or verification?

No. But you still need to be able to demonstrate that the chosen solution, whether periodic or aperiodic, meets the requirements of the customer, or of an auditor in the case of either ISO 17025 accreditation or ISO 9001 certification. Nevertheless, if your customer imposes this requirement and you accept it, you will be subject to it. You should therefore be very careful when reviewing your contract.

Is it mandatory to affix a label indicating the date of the last verification or calibration?
