4. Recommendations for processing censored and lost values
We take the case where non-significant measurement values have been censored and lost: being non-significant, the experimental values were (wrongly) judged to be of no interest, censored and not even noted. All information relating to these measurements was lost.
In such cases, it is necessary and useful to use statistical methods as a last resort.
