Developments Regarding QMS Planning and Evaluation

The phrase “expected results of the QMS” appears at least six times in the Requirements section of ISO 9001, excluding Annex A. Although a documented definition of “expected results of the QMS” is not an explicit requirement, it is recommended that it be defined with a certain degree of precision so that it can serve as a useful reference for setting quality objectives and assessing the effectiveness of the QMS.
