Adapt the risk-based approach to the company’s needs
For the added value of the risk-based approach to be measurable within your organization, it must take into account your organization’s current state and any specific characteristics of its business sectors, external challenges (regulatory constraints, competition, etc.), and internal challenges (complex processes, specialized knowledge, etc.).
Linking the risk-based approach to your company’s performance—for example, by evaluating the effectiveness of current risk control measures—should also help you identify areas where risk analysis needs to be deepened.
Involve the stakeholders in the management system
