9. Defects in soldered joints
As with any assembly process, defects may occur in the brazed joint, and these are listed in the international standard
NF EN ISO 18279
for brazing, the standard
IPC-A-610-H
groups together the acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies. Defects include any anomaly in the soldered joint, or any deviation from the initial positioning or final shape to be obtained.
