As with any assembly process, defects may occur in the brazed joint, and these are listed in the international standard NF EN ISO 18279 for brazing, the standard IPC-A-610-H groups together the acceptability criteria for electronic assemblies. Defects include any anomaly in the soldered joint, or any deviation from the initial positioning or final shape to be obtained.
