2. Masses and inertias related to the motor or wheel
Depending on the problem to be solved or the type of modeling
to be used (engine or vehicle vision), we may need to reduce the rotating
inertia to the primary (i.e. the crankshaft) or the wheel, or even
calculate the equivalent translational inertia (or mass) of the drive
train.
The rotating inertia of the motor (index m), the drive train (index
sb) and the wheels (index r) can be converted into an equivalent translational
mass m
