6.1 Plasma welding

Type of current: alternating or direct current.

Plasma welding (SP) derives from the TIG process in that it uses a special torch to transform a TIG arc with free ionization into a constricted or rigid arc, concentrated on its axis, highly directional and not very sensitive to the presence of the workpiece.
