Microwave network analyzers

Figure 2 shows a typical schematic diagram of a network analyzer. We have shown the various necessary functions, but it should be noted that, depending on the device, not all of the components shown are necessarily included in the same unit.

A network analyzer generally comprises:

• a) a microwave signal generation module (RF source such as a synthesizer or wobulator);
