Battery

An electrochemical energy storage device, although the term “battery” is technically a misnomer since it normally refers to a combination of several electrochemical cells.

Cell

A battery component, also known as an accumulator.

Container

For stationary applications, multiple racks are assembled into containers.

Dunkelflaute

A German term describing a meteorological phenomenon in which there is no renewable energy production because it is dunkel (dark) and there is a flaute (lack of wind).
