and are not repeated in detail here. Only the specific points relating to grain-oriented laminations are discussed.
Transformers, in which the exchange of energy between a primary and secondary winding takes place via a magnetic core whose axis is common to both windings, make use of the almost unidirectional magnetic properties of grain-oriented laminations.
