7. Conclusion
In order to carry out reliable simulations in power electronics, equivalent circuits capable of representing wound components are required. While that of a simple transformer is widely known, when the number of windings exceeds 3, few general representations are available.
In this dossier, we have presented a method for finding equivalent circuits capable of representing the magnetic coupling of any n-winding transformer. The study of magnetic coupling always provides the backbone of the circuits developed.
This method offers several advantages. Firstly, it uses a minimum number of components, equal to that of the independent elements of its inductance matrix.
