The parasitic capacitances of a transformer manifest themselves at high frequencies in two ways: the insulation between the windings is not perfect, and the impedances, seen at the terminals of the windings and between the windings, show numerous resonances (figure 34 ). The frequencies of these resonances depend very much on the size of the component and its transformation ratio.
