6. Rogowski or non-magnetic sensor
The advantages of Rogowski or non-magnetic transducers are: output isolation, wide current measurement range (up to 100 kA), high cut-off frequency of approx. 1.5 MHz, good accuracy (< 5%) and good linearity (< 0.5%). The absence of a ferromagnetic magnetic circuit avoids saturation and introduces no current limit. Rogowski transducers have a current measurement range extending from 10 A to 100 kA, with sensitivities between 0.01 mV × A

and 100 mV × A
–1
, and feature good linearity thanks to their principle, which does not require the presence of ferromagnetic material.
