3. Plasmas at thermodynamic equilibrium
Any modeling of thermal plasmas - calculation of flares, flows, heat and momentum transfers - requires knowledge of composition, thermodynamic properties (enthalpy, mass heat capacity, specific mass, speed of sound, etc.) and transport properties (thermal and electrical conductivity, viscosity, diffusion coefficients, radiation), either at equilibrium or out of equilibrium
