6. Conclusion
Studies of live working began in France in 1960, and became operational in 1965. General regulations were introduced on networks in the 1970s, and their development continued in all voltage ranges.
In 1994, the widespread use of live low- and high-voltage work was an accomplished fact in network operations. In the case of maintenance work, off-voltage work is becoming less and less frequent.
In 2012, changes to the regulations will see a further shift towards private domestic, industrial and tertiary sectors, starting with low voltage.
In 2016, a change in regulations for training in live working on electrical installations was published.
