Green mobility is the art of optimizing transportation and travel in order to protect the environment. A company or business's transportation fleet generally consists of five categories of vehicles. These are company cars, service vehicles, utility vehicles (used to transport goods and equipment with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) ≤ 3.5 tons), trucks (used exclusively to transport goods with a GVWR > 3.5 tons), and two-wheeled vehicles such as motorcycles, bicycles, scooters, etc.
The choice of vehicles comprising the vehicle fleet must be based on at least the following criteria:
reliability and range of the car;
level of greenhouse gas emissions;
average fuel consumption.
