INTRODUCTION
At the time of publication, there are eight billion people living on this planet. At the very least, each of us seeks to house, clothe, transport and educate ourselves. To satisfy these different needs, we have to produce and/or manufacture, consume and dispose of waste. The corollary of this mode of operation is the vertiginous accumulation of waste in all sectors. Faced with an increasing amount of bio-waste, what can or should be done? This guide invites you to reorient your consumption, moving from a linear consumption model (produce, consume and throw away) to a more virtuous and sustainable consumption model. This means producing less, consuming better and recycling everything that needs to be recycled, making bio-waste a partially recoverable resource.
To implement this strategy, this guide has been structured around the following sections:
What is biowaste?
What does the AGEC Act say?
How do you manage bio-waste?
How to recycle biowaste?
Finally, what kind of training is needed for professionals in the sector?
