Tidal plants for the twenty-first century

The study of impacts is an essential point, as they may be perceived a priori as unfavorable by many without this feeling being specified or supported by facts, studies or reflections.

The sites studied are large basins of 100 to 1,000 km ² backed up to the coast (excluding estuaries, which are an exceptional case). These are low-lying dykes and factories, generally 10 or 20 km from the coast, and therefore not very visible; these dykes protect the coast from storms, as the residual waves in the basin are low.
