1. Virtual office concept on USB stick
Two approaches are possible.
The first, called "stand-alone machine on USB stick", assumes that the USB stick has sufficient flash memory to store the operating system, applications and data. In this case, the user often has to reboot the host PC in order to access the virtual desktop contained on the USB stick, in a totally autonomous working environment.

The second, much simpler approach, known as "virtual office on USB stick", consists of using a PC, already running, to which the user can connect in a self-service environment. In this case, the USB key will contain only applications and personal data, and will take advantage of the host machine's network and operating system access.
