sense amplifier; Sense Amplifier, SA

Logic sub-assembly responsible for determining the logic level of the cells on a line. Each amplifier operates in differential mode. Several architectures exist, such as CSA (Current SA) and CTSA (Charge Transfer SA). It may be preceded by a sense pre-amplifier (SPA).

banc; bank

Possible decomposition unit of an independent-access memory, consisting of a storage plane with its control logic.

block; block

Possible decomposition unit of a storage plan to limit line capacity.

cache; cache

Also known as cache, limited-capacity memory between memory and processor. It can be integrated into a DRAM (DC DRAM, EDRAM, etc.) or a processor.
