2. Case study

We can illustrate some of the concepts developed above with a case study. It compares the influence of three different types of floor on the dynamic and fuel consumption performance of a given vehicle, all other things being equal.

2.1 General characteristics: vehicle, engine, BV kits

Tables 9, 10 and figures 44, 45 summarize the main vehicle/motor/BV characteristics relevant to our study, as well as the three proposed floor layouts.
