5. Conclusion

In this article, the model of asynchronous parallel iterative algorithms was presented, along with a variant allowing flexible communication between processors. Various convergence criteria were identified, and classical examples from the solution of stationary partial differential equations were studied. In addition, subdomain and multi-decomposition methods were presented and analyzed.
