CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)

Includes all numerical simulation methods in fluid mechanics

Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM)

Numerical simulation method in fluid mechanics based on discretization of the Boltzmann equation with a simplified collision term.

Operator BGK (Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook)

Linearized collision operator that replaces the standard collision operator in the Boltzmann equation. The BGK operator is widely used in the LBM method.

MRT (Multiple RelaxationTime)

Optimized collision operator that can be substituted for the classic BGK approach for more complex simulations.

Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS)
