4. Some examples of CPA systems

A typical CPA system consists of 4 basic elements: an oscillator, a stretcher, an amplifier chain and a compressor. Depending on the objectives sought, a multitude of configurations can be envisaged. Far from being exhaustive, the aim of this paragraph is to briefly present a few significant CPA systems, taken from the literature, and representative of the advantages of this technology.

4.1 CPA Ti system: sapphire
