4. Conclusion

These articles on mechanics are not intended to be an additional textbook. There are plenty of those already; in the end, the following point of view was adopted:

• clearly present the purpose of each partial theory ;

• state the precise conditions of application;

• formulate results unambiguously ;

• couple each important result with an example designed to verify the understanding of the result;

• facilitate the reader's task and save time by presenting a large number of directly usable results in tabular form.
