2. Study of a few simple movements

Simple motions are motions that can be treated as two single-phase motions linked by interface conditions. The configuration is generally non-random.

2.1 Ascent of an isolated bubble in an infinite environment

We place ourselves in the frame of reference where the bubble is stationary (figure 3 ) to write the phase and two-phase momentum conservation theorems (article Two-phase flows. General laws ). The flow is assumed to be non-turbulent. We define :
