4.1 Context

Specializing in electronics subcontracting, SME EMKA électronique was a pioneer in France in the implementation of DDMRP, initiated at the end of 2015. Management's ambition was to improve the company's overall performance. However, like many SMEs, its supply chain was not structured and it was difficult to act with traditional tools.

The particularity of this project lies in the complexity linked to the large number of product references manufactured. DDMRP, deployed in parallel with the S&OP process, brought a new vision and made the levers for improvement much more visible, thus facilitating industrial management.
