1.1 Road transport

On the road, the transport of dangerous goods is governed by the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, known as the "ADR Regulation" or "ADR," published every January 1, ^ers in odd-numbered years.

This international agreement applies to all road transport operations within the territory of the 53 signatory states (including the entire European Union): Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro,...
