The drawing principles and content of each of the production drawings (figure 12 ) are standardized and comply with precise rules.

• The process flow diagram is the fundamental document that logically and quantitatively describes the essential processing operations.

• The Process and Instrument Diagram (PID) is the basic document for the development of detailed studies of installations carried out by design offices. This plan (PCF) normally includes :
