3. Querying patent databases
In this section, we present the classic patent database queries available free of charge on the Internet.
3.1 Espacenet global database
This database is freely accessible.
First, we'll use the CPC with reference to the previous figures. The classes selected are shown in the table 2 , together with the number of responses obtained. Next, we'll carry out a variety of searches in different documentary fields. Queries using words are to be carried out in English.
