3. Applications of systems thinking to FH

We saw above that the very definition of FH is systemic in nature. The FH specialist's intervention does not dispense with this approach. We won't go into detail here on how analysts of work and organizations, such as ergonomists, naturally approach a systemic analysis posture. Instead, we will present the contribution of a school of systemic thought born of psychology and anthropology.

3.1 Contributions of the Palo Alto School

The creators of the famous American Palo Alto school developed a new way of seeing and thinking about human relationships. They used the principles of cybernetics and systems analysis. The Mental Research Institute (MRI) team created brief therapies and family therapies. The MRI's work has had a worldwide impact that has never been denied....
