5.1 Risks of use

While agricultural robotics can considerably reduce the farmer's socio-professional risks, it is essential that the use of robots does not create new ones. Indeed, the precise control of movements detailed above is an essential component of the efficiency of mobile robots operating in off-road environments. However, it does not manage the risks inherent in moving an autonomous platform, whose mass can reach several tons. In urban or workshop environments, the main risks considered are linked to collision with an obstacle, seen in binary terms.
