4. Conclusion
Responsible maintenance is a global reality involving technological, human, economic, environmental and organizational dimensions. As we have defined it, responsible maintenance is "the totality of all technical, administrative and management actions during the life cycle of an asset, designed to maintain or restore it to a state in which it can perform its required function, which necessarily includes respect for human beings and the environment, while preserving its economic performance". This is maintenance that justifies its actions in terms of availability, safety and cost, but also in terms of sustainable development.
