3. Openness: gaining agility

3.1 New, improved process

On-site testing of the BETA application showed us that building a virtual tour from a scan was relevant, but that the capture process needed to be optimized in relation to the laser scan technology tested.

To achieve this, we need to be very pragmatic and start from the need. In fact, what we're looking for is a 3D capture technology that allows us to obtain the internal envelope of a space to be renovated (i.e. floors, walls, ceilings, openings - doors and windows) to build the virtual tour, with centimeter-level precision. We're also looking for a technology that's agile, easy to use and low cost.
