4. Labeling and wrapping containers

Labeling containers of liquid food is an essential part of the packaging process. Originally a simple square of paper glued to the packaging, this label has rapidly become highly sophisticated, with tasks that have increased over time.

• Today, the label serves not only to identify the product contained in the primary packaging, but also to mention certain mandatory legal information, such as :

  • capacity ;

  • alcohol content ;

  • product components ;

  • best-before date ;
